The Aurora Plan Commission voted Thursday, Jan. 31, to recommend an animal nuisance provision be added to Aurora City code. The provision would set a fine of $25 to $100 for anyone whose animal creates a noise, odor or other nuisance. City Council would have to approve the provision for it to become city law, and is scheduled to meet after the 5 p.m. Aurora Utilities Board meeting Monday, Feb. 4, in city hall, Third and Main streets. To read about the discussion the commission had regarding livestock in town, 4-H and otherwise, pick up a copy of the Tuesday, Feb, 5, Journal-Press or read it online.
