A Greendale Police officer was injured along with about three other people in a series of crashes on Interstate 275 Thursday evening, Jan. 31. A crash at about 7:10 a.m. Friday, Feb. 1, also resulted in an injured person.

Snow rapidly fell, melted and then iced up on I-275 and in other areas around Dearborn County, causing traffic problems starting with the first pile up at 8:06 p.m. at mile marker 17 on southbound I-275, said Greendale Fire Chief Shannon Craig.
