MISHAWAKA, Ind. - Lawrenceburg football seniors Chad Banschbach and Jake Newman both have been named to Indiana Football Digest's Small School All-State football team.

Banschbach, a 2,600-yard rusher at runningback for coach Ryan Knigga's 11-2 Class 2A sectional champion Tigers, and Newman, who broke all the LHS placekicking records last well, both were previously honored by All-State and IFCA All-District X selections.

Both remain in the running for the Indiana Football Coaches Association's Grange Insurance North-South All-Star Classic as members of the South squad this July.

As selections for the Indiana Football Digest Small School All-State team, both players have been invited to the publication's 2012 Griddy Awards banquet March 17 at the Indianapolis Colts training complex.
