| Big truck parking disallowed in Moores Hill |

If you drive a truck or have a trailer weighing over 16,000 pounds, don't plan to park it long-term in Moores Hill. Moores Hill Town Council approved an ordinance at its February meeting which prohibits parking such heavy vehicles or any vehicle “taller, wider and longer than a conventional passenger” car or pickup truck on any street or alley within the town except for deliveries or picking up merchandise or supplies. In other business, the council approved adding bathroom cleaning to the deputy clerk-treasurer's duties; discussed sewer liens and sewer deposit refunds; turned down a request for a K-9; and decided to extend South Adams Street.
