NEW CASTLE – Lawrenceburg senior K.C. Hedger went 2-2 to punch his ticket as Dearborn County’s only IHSAA wrestling state finalist in Saturday’s semistate.

Hedger, the Tigers' 15th-ranked (Indiana Wrestling Coaches Association poll) went 2-2, winning his first two matches of the day to place fourth in the 170-pound division.

Regional runner-up the previous weekend, Hedger was the only survivor among 12 county wrestlers who advanced from the Richmond regional.
