Shinkle, who was arrested Monday evening on a warrant charging him with reckless homicide, had an initial hearing in Dearborn Circuit Court Tuesday, Feb. 12. His next court appearance, a pretrial hearing, will be at 8:30 a.m. Monday, April 1.

Shinkle faces three charges related to a one-vehicle crash Monday, Nov. 19: operating a vehicle while intoxicated causing death with a Schedule 1 controlled substance, a B Felony; and operating a vehicle while intoxicated causing death with an alcohol concentration of at least .08, and reckless homicide, both C felonies, according to Dearborn Circuit Court records.
