ST. LEON – East Central girls basketball coach Kevin Moore, already stricken by flu symptoms, felt even worse after his team's last-second sectional loss to Bloomington North last week. Two-time EIAC champion Lady Trojans led Bloomington North (9-13) most of the way, including double-figure cushions in both halves, before falling on a last-second bucket by the Panthers' Shai Warfield, 52-51. Lack of foul calls in an increasingly physical contest certainly contributed to EC's demise, as Moore – recovering after a day off last week – saw it. “Yeah the officiating was a bit perplexing at times in that game,” he said. “They allowed the perimeter hand-checking to go on pretty much all game.
