Greendale city council was given a week to study a proposed new Comprehensive Master Plan for their community.
Council will have a special session at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 19, to vote on adopting the plan, which has already been recommended by the Plan Commission.

Redevelopment Director and council member Al Abdon explained at the Wednesday, Feb. 13, meeting the plan has to be adopted before a Friday, March 1, deadline for submitting a letter of intent to the Stellar Communities competition.

Stellar Communities is a program which could award grants of up to $20 million to two Indiana communities, and an up-to-date Master Plan is a requirement.
