LAWRENCEBURG – University of Cincinnati head football coach Tommy Tuberville will be guest speaker at the Dearborn County Chamber of Commerce Get Energized luncheon Wednesday, April 3.

The luncheon and program – sponsored by AEP Indiana Michigan Power, Aurora Utilities, CenturyLink, City of Lawrenceburg Utilities, Duke Energy, Greendale Utilities, IMPA, Sycamore Gas Company and REMC – will be from 12 noon-1 p.m. at the Ivy Tech Community College Riverfront Campus.

Cost is $20 for Chamber partners and $30 for others. Box lunches and beverages will be available at 11:30 a.m.

Tuberville, widely regarded as one of the top coaches and recruiters in the collegiate game, assembled the top two recruiting classes in Texas Tech history, which placed the Red Raiders in the national Top 25 in 2011-12.

His previous college coaching stops included Miami (Fla.), Mississippi, Auburn, Texas A&M prior to his first head coaching stint of four years at Ole Miss.

Tuberville began his collegiate coaching career at Arkansas State in 1980 after coaching at Hermitage (Ark.) High School for two years.

A 1976 graduate of Southern Arkansas University, Tuberville was a letterman at free safety and two-year member of the golf team. He is a 1972 graduate of Harmony Grove High in Camden, Ark.

Married to the former Suzanna Fette of Guilford, Ind., they are parents of two sons, Thomas Tucker and Troy Allen.
