Meet an American hero. World War II veteran Frank Weishaupt tells of his incredible experiences as he left Cincinnati and was secretly funneled into the OSS, the forerunner of the CIA. After meeting with Gen. Patton in London, he was sent to Paris two days after D-Day, posing as a Swiss immigrant to gather intelligence on German troop movement.

Weishaupt will speak at 11 a.m. Thursday, March 14, at the North Dearborn Branch Library, 25969 Dole Road, Logan.
