INDIANAPOLIS – Moores Hill native and South Dearborn graduate Bryan Hamrock hit another career college football peak – this time as a coach – in December. Hamrock, 30, sixth-year co-offensive coordinator and quarterbacks coach for Marian University in Indianapolis, was a key component of the Knights' NAIA national championship run, which capped with 30-27 overtime thriller against Morningside (Iowa) at Barron Stadium in Rome, Ga., Dec. 13. With its first National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics small-college gridirion title, Marian completed a 12-1 season that included a 4-1 record in the conference and 4-0 run in the 57th annual Russell Athletic NAIA National Football Championship Series.To read the rest of this article please subscribe or sign in |
