GREENSBURG – Hoping to shake off a string of three bad shooting games, Lawrenceburg boys basketball did just that in Tuesday’s Class 3A Sectional 29 opener. Unfortunately, first-year coach John Blackwell and company came up three points shy, 67-64, against a taller Rushville team that came in with an identical 9-11 record. Tigers got a game-high 26 points in a typical determined effort from 6’1” senior guard Jalen Obertate (six twos, two treys, 8-9 free throws) and 14 from class and backcourt mate Robbie Jackson, who nailed a trio of threes.
