The latest information on Senate Bill 528 is a statement by Gov. Mike Pence that he is against any expansion of gambling in Indiana, specifically alluding to language in the bill allowing table games at the racinos, allowing the riverboats to move on land and allowing mobile gaming devices.
SB528
could hurt Dearborn County and Lawrenceburg’s take of tax revenues
from Hollywood Casino. The bill wouldn’t just hurt Dearborn County,
Ohio and Switzerland counties, also home to casinos, could be pinched
more severely than Dearborn. |
