Duke doles out the dough

Richard and Belinda Spurlock, owners of Grizzly’s Pizzeria in Dillsboro, have received a $5,000 crisis relief grant from The Duke Energy Foundation, awarded through One Dearborn and the Southeast Indiana Chamber Foundation. Businesses were required to be in a Duke Energy service area. The Spurlocks opened their pizzeria a few months before the pandemic. They quickly adapted their service to include free home delivery. Despite pandemic restrictions, they have added many new items including hand-dipped ice cream, sundaes and sweets. They will use the grant to implement a new online ordering system.
