Better late than never

A cool Saturday morning, Sept. 5, brought out young anglers to Schnebelt Pond in Greendale for the delayed annual Fishing Derby. Youngsters threw their lines in trying to catch a variety of fish stocked in the pond during the week. The biggest fish caught received a $100 gift card from Wormies Bait and Tackle Shop in Greendale; second prize was a $50 gift card. The day started early with mist hovering over the pond.  The derby was delayed from July Fourth due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
