South Dearborn High School football senior quarterback Adam Dixon (seated, center) recently committed to attend Wilmington College, in Wilmington, Ohio, this fall. Joining him, also seated, were parents Deanna and Jeff Dixon. Second row, from left, are SD assistant coach Kenny Higgins and head coach Rand Ballart. A three-year starter for the Knights, Dixon tied or broke 11 SD offensive record during his senior season last fall, earning EIAC 4A Division MVP honors. He was selected to play in the IFCA North-South All-Star Game, canceled this summer due to COVID-19 restrictions. Wilmington's Quakers compete at the NCAA Division III level and are a member of the 10-team Ohio Athletic Conference. (SD Athletics)
