Nov. 30, 2016, was the day life changed for Jayden Saylor's family.

It didn’t take long for the secret to surface. A month after a developer asked the Lawrencburg Redevelopment Commission for free land to build an indoor soccer complex, three representatives of a similar but more expansive plan already in the works dropped the news on the commission Monday, March 13.

The two seniors seem to know everyone who walks by in the East Central High School halls, and seem to greet everyone who walks by.

South Dearborn sophomore catcher Brooke Huddleston (.326, 8 doubles, 17 RBI) displayed grit and offensive skills as the full-time varsity backstop as a freshman in 2016.

AURORA - Looking back on it now, the bubble had to burst at some point in 2016 for South Dearborn softball.

Lady Knights - who open the 2017 spring slate Saturday at Columbus North (11 a.m.) - began last season red-hot, winning 14 of their first 18 games.

ST. LEON - Sunman-Dearborn Middle School’s wrestling team completed an undefeated 10-0 season recently, winning four invitational meet titles.
