Two Louisville women were apprehended after a Greendale Utilities vehicle stolen near Greendale Cinemas was spotted heading into Kentucky.

It won’t be the same job, but as Doug Rump starts his new position as Dillsboro town manager this week, he’s coming back to work for the same community where he had his first job.

Rump, 60, worked on Dillsboro’s street crew after graduating from Dillsboro High School in 1976.

In December when South Dearborn school board members passed a vote to proceed with plans to finance up to $9,760,000 in additional tax dollars for proposed improvements and renovations at South Dearborn High School, Aurora, they knew it was a gamble.

It was revealed Monday afternoon, March 27, it was a gamble that did not pay off.
