While most teachers are staying busy catching up with the latest in education and preparing for the next school year - away from the building - the maintenance staff is working hard on projects around the corporation.

This morning, Wednesday, June 21, at approximately 8:40 a.m., the Indiana State Police responded to a three vehicle crash on U.S. 52 near I-74 which sent five people to Cincinnati area hospitals, said ISP Sgt. Stephen Wheeles.

For years, Dearborn County has been scolded by the Indiana State Board of Accounts in audit reviews for sharing riverboat casino admissions tax revenue to various governmental entities.

Young and old alike attended Main Street Aurora’s “Hard Hat Hangout” Saturday, June 17, at which folks could explore, and sometimes work, various “big rigs.”

They also learned why calling 811 before digging is important, said Aurora Utilities Superintendent Randy Turner.
