SHOWDOWN TAILGATE FRIDAY IN THE JUNGLE
LAWRENCEBURG - Skyline Chili invites high school football fans to Tailgate At The Showdown prior to Friday night's season opener with East Central at Lawrenceburg.
Prior to the 7 p.m. kickoff of the 22nd annual Crosstown Showdown between the Tigers and Trojans, fans can join the gameday experience from 5-6:45 p.m. at The Jungle tailgating lot, at the northeast end of Dick Meador Stadium.
A live on-site broadcast - hosted by Tom Gamble and former UC quarterback Tony Pike, with appearances by Joe D and Jeremy R from Fox 19 Sports - will begin at 5 p.m. Friday.
Lindsay Patterson of cincinnati.com will be on hand to talk high school football live, with on-set interviews with head coaches Ryan Knigga and Jake Meiners about the game.
High school bands and cheerleaders will perform, and there will be an interactive Fan Zone, with games, contests and giveways.
