LAWRENCEBURG - South Dearborn softball continued its hot streak down the stretch of the regular season, defeating Lawrenceburg 12-0 in 5 innings for its fifth-straight EIAC win Monday.

East Central senior Eva Grimm (right) won her fourth-straight EIAC 100-meter dash title, lowering her conference record time, and added another near-record 200 dash win in Thursday's league championship meet at Franklin County.

EC girls' conference champion 4 X 400-meter relay - from left: Eva Grimm, Ellie Lengerich, Lily Greiwe and Emma Fey - broke an Eastern Indiana Athletic Conference record that had existed since 2004 with their win in 4:04.43 Thursday, May 9, at Brookville.

Alex Hornbach, East Central senior sprinter, won both the EIAC 100 and 200-meter dash titles and had a part in two additional Trojan relay winners in Thursday's Eastern Indiana Athletic Conference Track & Field Championships.

East Central boys and girls track and field swept both Eastern Indiana Athletic Conference meet titles Thursday, May 9, at Franklin County, with the Lady Trojans taking their 18th crown and EC boys their 22nd in school history.
