City of Aurora REACHing out

Aurora wants to keep its residents and others “in the loop” by starting a notification service called REACH Alert.
According to a letter from the city, the services will allow the city to share information on a variety of info including road closures, traffic delays due to construction or accidents, hazmat situations, water line breaks and boil water advisories, police actions, city events, and Amber and Silver Alerts.
Residents and others can receive the information by a text message, voice call, or an email.
Each household can register up to four phone numbers and four email addresses.
To register go to, click on “my account” and follow the directions. The network name is “Aurora.”
If you do not have access to a computer, or if you have trouble registering, call Reach Alert at 877-307-9313.
