Donate blood, get free Reds tickets
Hoxworth Blood Center, University of Cincinnati is teaming up with the Cincinnati Reds to give the local blood supply a grand slam. Donate blood at any Hoxworth Neighborhood Donor Center, Thursday, April 4 through Saturday, April 6 and receive two free tickets to a future Cincinnati Reds game.
“We remain in critical need for donors following a winter of high usage and low donor turnout. Our partnership with the Cincinnati Reds is a continually successful way to bring in donors and boost the blood supply,” says Alecia Lipton, spokesperson for Hoxworth Blood Center. “We are thankful for the support we receive from the Reds, which helps Hoxworth collect blood donations that are vital to countless patients in our area hospitals.”
Due to the anticipated popularity of this event, appointments are highly encouraged. Donors should call 1-513-451-0910 or visit www.hoxworth.org to schedule their appointment.
Hoxworth operates seven Neighborhood Donor Centers in the Tri-State. The centers are conveniently located in Anderson, Blue Ash, Central at UC, Ft. Mitchell, West Chester, Tri-County and Western Hills. Additionally, all but Central at UC is open on Saturdays, 8 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Hoxworth Blood Center, University of Cincinnati, was founded in 1938 and serves over 30 Tri-State hospitals and medical facilities.
