MEMORIAL SITE FOR LAUREN HILL AT LAWRENCEBURG HIGH SCHOOL

Lawrenceburg High School Officials have arranged a memorial site for Lauren Hill, the 2014 Lawrenceburg graduate who inspired countless with her brave efforts to raise more than $1.5 million for cancer research while fighting diffuse intrinsic pontine glioma. Lauren passed away Friday morning.

"On behalf of Lawrenceburg Community School Corporation and the entire Lawrenceburg community, we would like to send our thoughts and prayers to the Hill family with the passing of Lauren.  Lauren touched many lives in the school community.  Her 'Never Give Up' attitude will always be remembered," said Karl Galey, superintendent, Lawrenceburg Community School Corporation.

The memorial site is located near the old steps of the Lawrenceburgh high school that face the baseball field. ALL MEMORIALS, GIFTS, TOKENS, CARDS OR CONDOLENCES OF ANY KIND SHOULD BE PLACED AT THIS SITE. PLEASE DO NOT TAKE ANYTHING TO THE HILL'S RESIDENCE.
