Dennis Callahan, 81, of St. Leon, Ind., passed Tuesday. He leaves his loving family: Todd (Gerri) Callahan of Versailles, Ind., Steven (Angie) Callahan of Bright, Ind., Denise (Gerald) Barnhorst of Edinburgh, Ind., Brenda (Lamon) Baker of Sunman, Ind. He also leaves seven grandchildren: Anthony Calllahan, Kyle Callahan, Brittany Callahan, Dillon Callahan, Devon Williams, Breanna Williams, and Ciara Williams. There are four great-grandchildren. He leaves one sister, Marlene Laker. Dennis was preceded in death by his wife, Rita Callahan, his grandson, Keith Callahan, his parents Morris E. and Madeline O. Callahan, and his brother Maurice (Jim) Callahan. During his life, Dennis enjoyed being a member of the Conservation Club and the St. Leon Volunteer Fire Department. He was a lifelong member of St. Joseph Church, All Saints Parish. Visitation is Thursday, Aug. 9, from 6 p.m.to 8 p.m. at Andres-Wuestefeld Funeral Home with rosary prior to visitation. Mass of Christian Burial is Friday, Aug. 10, at 10 a.m. at St. Joseph Church, All Saints Parish. Memorials may be made in Dennis Callahan’s name to the charity of donor’s choice.
