Ronald Daughters, 73, of Greendale, Ind., passed away Thursday, April 5, 2018. He was born Aug. 14, 1944, in Cincinnati, Ohio, son of the late John Walter and Ruth Mary (Pfadt) Daughters.
Ronald was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force. He was an active member of the Bethlehem Lutheran Church. He liked to run. He often volunteered time with a Multiple Sclerosis support group in Indianapolis, Ind., where he helped others to cope with this debilitating disease. He worked as an HVAC technician at Trane and then York.
He is survived by his loving wife of 33 years, Rose Daughters; son, John David Ciulla of Lawrenceburg, Ind.; brother, Ken (Pat) Daughters of Okeana, Ohio; sister, Joyce (Larry) Coffer of Lebanon, Ohio; sister-in- law, Faye Daughters of Burlington, Ky.; four nephews, Ken Daughters Jr., Ben Daughters, Jonathan Coffer, and James Daughters; three nieces, Andrea Coffer, Gretchen Coffer, and Rebecca Daughters; several great-nieces, great-nephews, and special family members, Daniel (Maria) Taylor and their children Dustin James and Emily Rose.
He was preceded in death by his parents and his brother Gary Daughters.
Family and friends will be received Thursday, April 12, 2018, from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. at the Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church, Dillsboro, Ind. Funeral services will be held at Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church, Thursday, April 12, 2018, at 11 a.m., with the Rev. Richard Kolasky officiating.
Interment will be in the Greendale Cemetery, Greendale, Ind.
