Not quite flight time

First-graders in Rachel Ransom’s room, Moores Hill Elementary, check out monarch caterpillars. They are watching as the insects rapidly move through four stages of their life cycle into butterflies. The class now has 10 chrysalises, the third stage before they transform into butterflies. The kids go straight to the butterfly house as soon as they come in each morning. They will release the butterflies as soon as they are ready to fly. Submitted Photo
