Pages for a day

State Sen. Chip Perfect, R-Lawrenceburg, welcomes three students to the Statehouse as Senate pages in January. Taylor Black, Dillsboro, who attends South Dearborn High School; James Boes, Rising Sun, who attends Rising Sun High School; and Owen Matthew, Lawrenceburg, who attends East Central High School. Pages spend a day at the Statehouse touring the historic building, observing debates from the Senate floor and interacting with their state senator.

More than 320 young women in eighth, ninth and tenth grade were exposed to non-traditional and STEM related pathways during the Fearless Female program Thursday, Feb.
