South Dearborn High School crowned its king and queen during homecoming at the Sept. 25 football game.

The shoebox diorama must go on

Ivy Schmeltzer’s fourth-grade students at Aurora Elementary School have been hard at work on their Yosemite National Park projects. From left: Grant Bauman, Leo Bressert, Brady Ullrich, Leah Luke, and Brian Armah created a shoebox diorama to go along with their slides how presentation of the park. The students have been learning about the history of the park, attractions to visit, and how to preserve it for years to come. They learned that using a digital slide show helps to keep their writing organized and interesting.

Anybody’s guess

South Dearborn High School homecoming is this Saturday, Sept. 26, at the Knights-East Central football game. The game starts at 7 p.m. on the new synthetic turf field. The king and queen and prince and princess will be named at halftime.
