AMAZIN' GRACI 3-TIME SOFTBALL MVP

South Dearborn's amazin' Graci Cornett topped off her stellar 4-year varsity softball career this spring, leading the Lady Knights to their first Class 3A sectional championship since 2014.

South Dearborn's Jay Malott (left), with a total of 352 wins as Knights varsity baseball coach for the past 25 years, was honored with a plaque presentation by athletic director Ryan Walston at the team's postseason banquet June 24. With a total of 30 years with the program, Malott led SD to a 20-8 mark and EIAC and Class 3A sectional championships this season, as well as the Charlestown Invitational tournament title. He was named an assistant coach to the Indiana South All-Star team for the IHSBCA North-South All-Star Series, played at Madison, as well. (SD Athletics)
