Gritty South Dearborn junior guard Alex Shackelford led a trio of double-digit scorers at 11.8 points per game as the Knights averaged 60.0 per contest for their best offensive output in six years.

Senior guard Ethan Getz (10), a four-year varsity player for South Dearborn, averaged 11.0 points per game while leading the Knights in steals and deflections this season.

Sophomore Isaiah Jefferson (32), one of three Knights averaging double-digit scoring at 11.3 points per game, continued to improved in his second varsity season for South Dearborn.

KNIGHTS' OFFENSE BEST SINCE 1996

AURORA - A lot can be said about South Dearborn’s 2018-19 boys varsity basketball season, which offered plenty of ups and downs, under second-year head coach Kevin Reinhardt.

South Dearborn junior guard Kyrstin Bond (23) earned all-conference honors and was the county’s second-leading scorer at 15.1 points per game, helping the Lady Knights maintain a 10-14 season mark.

One of two 4-year starters back for SD girls basketball, Alyssa McClanahan had one of her best seasons at 8.8 ppg, 2.6 rebounds, 2.1 assists and 1.5 steals per game.
