LAWRENCEBURG - The 2019 Lawrenceburg Summer Shootout high school basketball tournament runs this Friday and Saturday, June 14-15, at four gyms on the Lawrenceburg Community School Corp. main campus.

A total of 20 schools from the Tri-State area, divided into four 5-team pools, are scheduled to take part in the event, with games played in the LHS Main and Auxiliary Gyms, Greendale Middle School Gym and Lawrenceburg Primary School Gym.

Scheduled to compete are Cincinnati Colerain, Covington (Ky.), Mississinewa, Newport (Ky.), Reading (Ohio), Austin, Hagerstown, Kings (Ohio), Cincinnati Northwest, Taylor (Ohio), Cloverdale, Eminence, Goshen, New Washington, Parke Heritage, Boone County (Ky.), New Miami (Ohio), South Decatur, Winchester and Lawrenceburg's Tigers.

All teams will play 4 pool games plus a placement round game based on pool records.

Games, consisting of two 18-minute running clock halves, will run from 10 a.m.-5 p.m. Friday and start again at 9 a.m. Saturday, with the championship slated for approximately 3 p.m.

Admission for spectators is $3 per day or $5 for both weekend sessions.
