LHS TO INDUCT FIRST ATHLETIC HOF CLASS

LAWRENCEBURG - Lawrenceburg High School will induct 14 of the great from Tiger sports history as its first Athletic Hall of Fame class Saturday, Jan.19.

Charter members of the LHS Athletic Hall of Fame will be honored at a private ceremony before the Tigers' boys varsity basketball game against Jac-Cen-Del that same evening.

Inaugural Hall of Fame inductees will be introduced to the community during ceremonies between the reserve and varsity basketball games that night.

Starting with the current 2018-2019 school year, Lawrenceburg now will annually induct individuals into the LHS Athletic Hall of Fame.

Community members are invited to submit nominees for LHS Athletic Hall of Fame consideration for 2019-2020, beginning Feb. 1.

Nomination forms can be obtained at the Lawrenceburg High School Athletic Office or can be printed off of the LHS Athletic website starting Feb. 1.

The 2019-2020 nomination process will close on May 3. Inductees to the second LHS Hall of Fame class will be made in the late fall of 2019, with a ceremony in the early winter of 2020.

4 p.m. – Hall of Fame dinner and recognition for family and invited guests (Main Gym Upper Level - South End)

6 p.m. – Boys JV basketball bame vs. Jac-Cen-Del (Main Gym)

7:15 p.m. – Introduction of Hall of Fame athletes (Main Gym)

8 p.m. – Varsity boys basketball game vs. Jac-Cen-Del (Main Gym)

Varsity Halftime – Homecoming court recognition

Community members are invited to talk with the Hall of Fame inductees during the JV and varsity games.
