SD'S CORNETT INKS WITH IU SOUTHEAST

NEW ALBANY - South Dearborn High School senior Graci Cornett has signed to play softball at Indiana University Southeast, head coach Joe Witten announced Thursday, Sept. 20.

EC GIRLS 2-1 WINNER OVER NO. 14 BULL DOGS

ST. LEON - East Central girls soccer followed its 18th conference title clincher Sept. 12 with its biggest win yet, 2-1 over 14th-ranked Class 3A sectional rival Columbus North Wednesday night.

TROJAN GIRLS 1ST AT SPARTAN INVITE

CONNERSVILLE - It was a hot, sticky evening as East Central cross country headed to the starting line for the Spartan Invitational at Connersville Tuesday, Sept. 18.

South Dearborn’s football Knights (4-1) take the field amid their colorful pregame entrance prior to last weekend’s 27-14 win over Greensburg. SD hosts defending Class 4A state champion East Central, also 4-1, on Highlander Hill this Friday night for a shot at their first conference title since the 1996 season.
